Corona del Mar 10, Newport Harbor 8--Leslie Damion and Jamie Steele won their final doubles sets, 6-3, 6-1, to break an 8-8 tie for top-ranked Corona del Mar (15-0).

Natalie Braverman swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, in singles for No.8 Newport Harbor (13-3).

In girls’ golf:

Palm Desert 224, La Quinta 350--Ashley Forbes shot four-over-par 40 at Desert Willow and was medalist for Palm Desert (16-0, 6-0), which clinched its third consecutive Desert Valley League title.
