Reader Was Touched by Another’s Forgiveness

Re “Peter Biehl, 59; Forgave Killers of Daughter,” obituary, April 2:

I was so saddened to read of the death of Peter Biehl. His passing at such a young age is a loss to a world so caught up in a spiral of violence, hatred and revenge. Since the death of their daughter, Amy, the Biehls’ response of forgiveness and love has been a shining beacon for me. Revenge begets more violence and hatred. . May his example live on in other lives.
