Events to Mark the Reopening

SATURDAY
Noon-4:30 p.m.: Family Arts Festival includes arts workshops, tours of the “New Works, New Spaces” exhibition and performances from Pasadena-area groups such as Aman Folk Ensemble, Knightsbridge Theater, the Pasadena Symphony and the Conservatory of Puppetry Arts. Raymond Avenue will be closed. Free.
7--9 p.m.: Opening reception for “New Works, New Spaces,” 11 installations by Southern California artists. Show continues through June 23; closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Free.
SUNDAY
2-3:30 p.m.: “Changing Art, Changing Spaces,” a panel discussion about public art spaces. Participants include Scott Ward, executive director of the Armory Center for the Arts; Julie Sillimen of the MTA’s public art program; and artist Jorge Pardo. Free.
