Charter Train to Vegas Cancels 3 of 4 Trips
- Share via
A new charter train that was scheduled to make four round-trip runs this spring between Los Angeles’ Union Station and Las Vegas will make only one run, on May 7, the operator said last week. Henry Luna, president of Key Holidays in Walnut Creek, Calif., said not enough people had signed up to make the other trips possible.
As of last week, about 340 people had booked the 660-passenger train for May 7, he said. Packages start at $195 per person, double occupancy, including two nights’ lodging in Las Vegas, lunch and a dance car with live band. (800) 783-0783, www.keyholidays.com.
