You can tell when the members of the far-right wing are afraid of being exposed and beaten by an opponent; they start their smear machine. I see Michael Ramirez (cartoon, Commentary, April 16) has decided it’s time to start up the big-lie machine about Al Gore again. How boring. The far-right Republican Party must be very upset at the fiery reemergence of Gore. I can understand that. After all, he’s already beaten them once.
