The head of a Falls Church, Va., group opposed to changes in federal privacy rules regarding health information found a way to get his point across: He took out an ad in President Bush’s hometown newspaper.
Bill McGinly, chief executive of the Assn. for Healthcare Philanthropy, placed an ad in the Waco Tribune-Herald, which is published near the president’s ranch outside Crawford, Texas. The paper is delivered to the ranch, the Tribune-Herald’s advertising director, Michael Vivio, said. The half-page ad ran Friday in the 40,000-circulation daily.
