A list of casino shootings nationwide since 1995:
* Feb. 20, 1995: An employee at the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., is shot to death as she leaves work.
* June 2, 1996: A woman is shot and wounded in the parking lot at the Little Six Casino in Prior Lake, Minn., while waiting to pick up her husband.
* Aug. 6, 1997: A waitress at Harrah’s Marina Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, is shot to death by her former boyfriend while calling 911 from the employee parking lot.
* June 28, 1999: Would-be robbers open fire on two armored truck guards at the Desert Inn in Las Vegas, wounding both.
* Nov. 6, 1999: One man is shot to death and another critically injured after an argument outside the Mohegan Sun Casino in Montville, Conn.
* Jan. 26, 2000: Off-duty police Officer Solomon Bell fatally shoots himself in the head after losing thousands of dollars at the MotorCity Casino in Detroit.
* Sept. 8, 2000: A tourist is killed and a guard wounded when a robber opens fire at Harrah’s casino in Las Vegas. Police later arrest two suspects.
* Jan. 13, 2001: A gunman, Sylvester McConnell of Mobile, Ala., shoots and wounds three people at the Gulf Coast Casino in Biloxi, Miss., before fatally shooting himself.
