Not an Artful Display

As an artist, I was startled and stunned by Lori Latta’s photo of a citrus fruit installation on Fifth Avenue (My Best Shot, July 21).
Nice photo, yes. But I question the display--food drilled, impaled and rotting, to decorate a fountain emptied by a water shortage. No wonder the hungry people of our world hate New York City.
