Police Question Father in Slayings of Kids, Man

Belgian police questioned a man after finding his five children killed along with the lover of his estranged wife, a court official said.

Police believe the man, Ozan Selamet, may have killed his sons, ages 18, 10 and 6, and a daughter, 4, when they were visiting him, and then drove the bodies to the house where they lived with their mother.

It appeared he then entered the house, in a Brussels suburb, and shot dead his other daughter, 16, and a man in his 30s believed to be his wife’s lover, police said.

Apart from the eldest son, who had gunshot wounds, the children found in the car appeared to have been strangled, the official said.
