Developer Donates Land to Conservancy

The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy has been given 1,000 acres of rolling hills and canyons by the Long Canyon Ranch Co. development firm.
The parcel is south of Wood Ranch, stretching from Long Canyon Road south to the ridgeline of the Simi Hills.
The property provides permanent habitat for wildlife and links trails to other parklands. Private open space held by the Bridal Path Homeowners Assn. also abuts the donated land.
