A former Little League administrator in Long Beach pleaded guilty in federal court Monday to possession of child pornography.
Laurent “Larry” Blumenthal, 65, faces 24 to 30 months in prison under terms of a plea agreement negotiated with prosecutors.
Blumenthal came under investigation after a 14-year-old boy spending the night at his Signal Hill home discovered a hidden camera in an upstairs bathroom.
A police search uncovered pornographic images of children on videotapes and computer hard drives in Blumenthal’s home, according to the plea agreement.
Blumenthal, who resigned on the day of the search, is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 19.
