Gunman Escapes With Cash in Drugstore Heist

A man robbed a Seal Beach drugstore Friday night after pointing a handgun at a cashier, police said.
The armed robbery was reported at 8:55 p.m. in the 1100 block of Pacific Coast Highway. A man approached the Sav-On Drugs cashier to pay for a soda and then displayed a gun to the clerk, said Sgt. Rick Ransdell. Police didn’t know how much money was taken.
The suspect is believed to be 18 to 25, 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds with curly hair.
