Update--Who knew that Tuesday’s 89-66 loss to the Sparks would be the last Mercury game coached by Cynthia Cooper? One of the best players in WNBA history, Cooper had a 19-23 coaching record after 1 1/2 seasons, but she had gotten the Mercury off to a 6-4 start this year. The team is being led by interim Coach Linda Sharp.
