Panel Instructs School to Redraw Expansion Plans

The Los Angeles City Planning Commission this week gave a Granada Hills campus 120 days to revamp its expansion plan.
Hillcrest Christian School’s expansion, which would add five acres and 400 students, has drawn heavy opposition because of traffic and noise concerns.
Planning Commission President Mitchell B. Menzer told the school’s administrators at a meeting Thursday in Van Nuys to hold community forums and to draw revised plans.
