Linda Tripp Is Being Treated for Breast Cancer

Linda Tripp, a key figure in the Monica S. Lewinsky sex scandal that engulfed the Clinton White House, is suffering from breast cancer, her attorneys said. They gave no details about her condition.
Tripp, who worked at the Pentagon, recorded telephone conversations she had with Lewinsky about the then-White House intern’s affair with President Clinton and turned them over to independent counsel Kenneth W. Starr’s office. She lost her job when Clinton left office.
