UP NEXT, Wednesday at Atlanta, 4:30 p.m.--The Thrashers are 2-6-1-1 in their last 10 games. They are one of two teams without a winning record that the Ducks play in the last 19 games. Atlanta’s IIya Kovalchuk is the front-runner for the Calder Trophy, given to the NHL’s top rookie. He has 28 goals and 49 points. Center Tony Hrkac, who the Ducks did not re-sign last summer, is having a solid season, with 13 goals and 31 points. The Ducks need 15 points to avoid having their worst season in a non-lockout year. They had 65 points in the 1997-98 season
