Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc., whose founder resigned in June amid criminal charges surrounding a stock sale, said Monday that it will air its television program twice daily in Los Angeles and other big cities.
The television program, which features Martha Stewart demonstrating how to perform household tasks such as cooking eggplant parmigiana, will enter its 11th season starting Sept. 15, the company said.
The program will be moved to late night on CBS-owned stations in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Miami from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Pacific time, the company said.
The television show will get daytime distribution on a UPN-affiliated station or independent station in those cities, as well as Pittsburgh, the company said.
Martha Stewart Living shares fell 13 cents to $8.25 Monday on the New York Stock Exchange. The shares have declined 3% in the last year.
