From Times Wire Reports
A judge in Birmingham said she expects to rule next week in a civil lawsuit filed by the victim of a 1998 abortion clinic bombing against suspect Eric Robert Rudolph.
Emily Lyons, who was injured in the blast, and her husband are seeking $110 million from Rudolph. He is charged in federal court with bombing the New Woman All Women Health Care Clinic in Birmingham. The couple say they don’t want him to profit from his notoriety.
The couple filed the case in 2000, but Rudolph was a fugitive and the court papers could not be served.
