Los Angeles city officials celebrated the groundbreaking Monday for the much-delayed NoHo Commons commercial and residential development, touting the 23-acre project as a key to reviving North Hollywood.
The development, to be completed in mid-2005, will include 716 units of rental housing as well as 158,000 square feet of retail space and 200,000 square feet for offices. Seven acres have been dedicated to the Los Angeles Unified School District for a high school.
