Muhammad Will Not Appear at Malvo Trial

Sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad has refused to testify in the trial of fellow suspect Lee Boyd Malvo, and the judge says she sees no need to bring Muhammad into court.
Defense attorney Craig Cooley asked for Muhammad to appear in the Chesapeake court so the jury could see him, but Circuit Judge Jane Marum Roush said she saw no need. Malvo’s lawyers are claiming Muhammad, 42, brainwashed their teenage client.
