Re “Baggage Checkers Breach Security at LAX,” June 12: What better way is there to ensure a really high recidivism rate in prisons than to bar all former inmates from good-paying jobs? Surely there is some better way to make the airports safe than to make it difficult for former offenders who want to lead law-abiding lives to find jobs.
