She went through Door, and it’s swell

Last year I had the pleasure of exploring Door County, Wis. (“A Fine Kettle of Fish on Lake Michigan,” June 1).
After running the Green Bay Packers gantlet at the airport, we drove up to Washington Island, where we spent a week at the Sievers School of Fiber Arts. They offer a variety of classes in a picture-postcard setting.
Door County has antiques, roadside fruit and vegetable stands, unique shopping opportunities (some good, some bad), good eats, nice lodgings and spectacular scenery. I’m looking forward to another fish boil and frozen custard. You betcha!
