Councilwoman Stepping Down After Five Terms

One of Marin County’s most stable city councils is losing one of its most veteran members.
Joan Lubamersky, a four-time mayor who joined the council in 1983 after three years on the planning commission, does not plan to seek a sixth term this fall.
No current council member has served less than 10 years.
