A Dana Point man died Friday after his car was struck by an oncoming vehicle that swerved into his lane on the Ortega Highway near San Juan Capistrano.
Police did not release the name of the 34-year-old man or his pregnant wife, who was a passenger in the Hyundai he was driving.
CHP Officer S. Haro said the other car was a Nissan Altima. Its driver was not named. Both he and the dead man’s wife were treated for moderate injuries.
