From Times Wire Reports
The school district has fired a nine-year employee after finding that he used district accounts and a credit card to charge as much as $15,000 for personal use.
Rusty Myers, 44, the district’s coordinator of maintenance and operations, was fired last week. He had been placed on paid administrative leave Feb. 3.
Myers is suspected of misappropriating funds in a series of purchases beginning in March 1999. Investigators also said they found about 100 pornographic photos on his district-assigned laptop computer.
