Motorcyclist Thrown From Bike Dies

A 22-year-old Camarillo man was killed Friday when he apparently lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, police said.
Bryant Dwayne French Jr. was riding southbound on Durkin Street at the time of the 1:40 p.m. crash, police said. French, who was traveling at an unknown speed, was approaching a bend in the road when he apparently lost control, was thrown from the bike and landed on the sidewalk near the Sharon Drive intersection.
He suffered severe head injuries and was transported to St. John’s Pleasant Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about 40 minutes later, police said.
The accident is under investigation, police said.
