Kmart Holding Corp. said it was cutting about 200 jobs at its headquarters as part of its streamlining efforts.
The Troy, Mich.-based company also lowered the maximum number of stores it planned to sell to Home Depot Inc. to 19 from 24.
The planned real estate sale had been greeted enthusiastically by Wall Street, so its revision sent Kmart’s stock downward. Its shares fell $3.21 to $64.40 on Nasdaq.
