Priest to Stand Trial in Molestation Case

A Roman Catholic priest accused of child molestation was ordered Tuesday to stand trial, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said.
Fernando Lopez, 40, faces seven criminal charges, including felony lewd conduct with a child, sexual battery and child molestation.
Lopez was assigned to St. Thomas the Apostle parish in Koreatown and has been jailed since his Sept. 28 arrest.
