Black Sabbath will reunite for Ozzfest 2004 with all original members after all, now that drummer Bill Ward, who initially said he would not participate, has changed his mind.
“He reconsidered and decided to accept the original proposal,” a spokeswoman for Ward said.
Ward will join his former bandmates Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Iommi and Geezer Butler headlining this year’s Ozzfest, which also features a reunion of the original lineup of British heavy metal band Judas Priest.
Ozzfest opens July 12 in Massachusetts and reaches Southern California with a July 31 stop at the Hyundai Pavilion in Devore.
