Moody’s Upgrades UC Bond Rating Outlook

From Associated Press

Moody’s Investors Service upgraded its long-term bond rating outlook for the University of California to “stable” from “negative,” citing improvement in the state’s economy and recent budget changes that bolstered funding for the university.

The university’s bond rating remained unchanged at Aa2, but the change in the outlook should send a signal to investors that the university system’s fiscal position is stable, Moody’s said.
