Second Chance? Not for Williams

The NCAA needs to immediately reject Mike Williams’ request for reinstatement at USC. Mike broke the two golden rules of amateur athletics, he took money from a booster or agent and he gambled. No, he didn’t bet on a team to win or lose on the field, he bet against our judicial system. As an adult Mr. Williams needs to be accountable for his actions and suffer the consequences.
USC needs to give that extra college scholarship to someone who’ll appreciate it and -- God forbid -- complete his college education.
