Re “County Rescinds Vote to Ban Gay Residents,” March 19: The Dayton, Tenn., county commissioners who -- in the same courtroom as the Scopes “Monkey Trial” of 1925 -- voted to ban gay residents from their town might have been right. After all, they proved correct the finding almost 80 years ago that there is no such thing as evolution -- at least not in Rhea County.
