Marxist Group Blamed for Venezuelans’ Deaths

Colombia blamed Marxist FARC rebels for killing at least five Venezuelan soldiers and an oil engineer in one of the deadliest attacks in recent years on the two countries’ jungle border.
The Venezuelan government initially blamed far-right Colombian paramilitaries for Friday’s ambush of a military patrol escorting workers of state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela.
But Colombian Defense Minister Jorge Alberto Uribe said military intelligence showed the attack was carried out by rebels.
