Reunion: Loggins & Messina, the pop duo that charted several hit albums during its brief run from 1972 to 1976, will reunite for the first time since Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina parted. The summer tour starts June 24 in Boise, Idaho, and includes a June 29 stop at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Tickets for the Greek show go on sale Sunday.

Next up: Rapper Kanye West is moving forward with the follow-up to his multiple Grammy-winning debut, “The College Dropout.” The new album, “Late Registration,” has been slated for a July 12 release, and the first single, “Diamonds,” featuring Jay-Z, premiered Wednesday on the Hot 97 radio station in New York.
