After dropping “LAX” from its 10 p.m. Monday time slot, NBC scored impressively with its replacement, “Medium,” a drama series about a suburban mom who uses psychic gifts to solve mysteries.
According to ratings from Nielsen Media Research, the show’s Monday debut drew 16.1 million viewers, trailing ABC’s Sugar Bowl and CBS’ “CSI: Miami.”
Among viewers ages 18 to 49, “Medium” delivered the highest performance for an NBC Monday night premiere in 11 years, according to NBC.
