County Board Sessions on Hospitals Urged

County Supervisor Mike Antonovich will ask board members Tuesday to hold special meetings four times a year to focus on hospital issues.
Antonovich opposes a proposal, stemming from the problems at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center, to create a separate health authority to run county hospitals.
His plan calls for supervisors to concentrate on care and management at one hospital per meeting, his spokesman said.
