Land Deal Adds Private Acreage to Wilderness

U.S. Forest Service officials are adding about 1,360 acres of private land to the Trinity Alps and the Marble Mountain wilderness areas.
The $3-million deal transfers the acreage to a Colorado-based conservation group, the Wilderness Land Trust, and then to the U.S. Forest Service.
