2 Democrats Are Named by Bush to Fill SEC Seats

President Bush nominated two people to fill Democratic positions on the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Annette Nazareth, the SEC’s director of market regulation, was named to replace Harvey J. Goldschmid, who plans to resume teaching law at Columbia University. Bush also nominated Commissioner Roel C. Campos to a second term. As is traditional, the White House chose candidates recommended by the Senate Democratic leadership.
