If you can’t beat ‘em, turn up the AC

All I hear about regarding electrical consumption is conserve, conserve, conserve. I have been hearing this for 40 years. Then just last week we had two Stage 2 alerts. I, for one, will not be conserving anything anymore. There is just too much building going on. If we hadn’t built so many homes and businesses the last few decades, then we would have enough power. My personal protest will include doing laundry at 1 p.m. every day and using my air conditioner nonstop. I will water my lawn in the afternoon. If the power goes out, so be it -- I have a generator. So when the power goes out, you can blame me or officials who approve every new building.
