Teen Dies After Seizure at Hope University Dorm

An 18-year-old woman died this week at a Hope University dormitory, police said Friday.
Diane Santacruz of La Puente had been staying in the dorm as part of nearby Cal State Fullerton’s Summer Bridge, an outreach program for lowincome high school students.
A university spokeswoman said Santacruz, a diabetic, suffered a seizure Tuesday and couldn’t be revived by university police, who were first on the scene.
