Man Who Met Girl After Web Contact Is Arrested

A Salinas man is being held on several sex-crime charges after traveling to Grass Valley to meet with a 15-year-old girl he met on the Internet, police said.
Bruce Lelievre, 39, was arrested Monday after spending the day with the girl, police Sgt. Mike Hooker said. Lelievre’s bail was set at $200,000.
The girl’s friends told police about her personal website, which allowed officers to track information about Lelievre through his correspondence with the girl, Hooker said.
Police arrested Lelievre during a traffic stop. The girl told police that “some sexual contact had occurred.”
