Annika Sorenstam stretched her lead to a staggering 10 strokes Saturday, virtually assuring her 60th career LPGA Tour victory with another round to go at the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship at Stockbridge, Ga.
Despite her first bogeys of the tournament, Sorenstam managed a five-under-par 67 that extended her six-stroke lead at the halfway point and gave her an 18-under 198 total.
Emilee Klein shot 68 and was the closest challenger at 208.
Cindy Mackey holds the LPGA record for the largest victory margin with a 14-stroke runaway at the MasterCard International Pro-Am in 1986.
“I just want to win the tournament,” Sorenstam said. “That’s all that matters to me.”

Sean O’Hair, a 22-year-old rookie, showed poise beyond his years with a three-under 67 to take a one-shot lead over British Open champion Todd Hamilton at the Byron Nelson Championship at Irving, Texas.
“Being in that situation for the first time, I’m pretty happy with the way I handled myself,” said O’Hair, who made one bogey and finished at 12-under 198.
Hamilton, who has had only one top 10 since his British Open victory over Ernie Els, shot a 65. Scott Verplank nearly holed out from the fairway on the 18th hole and finished with three birdies for a 65, putting him at 10-under 200 with Doug Barron (65) and Ted Purdy (68).

Craig Stadler shot a 10-under 60 to match the Champions Tour and Blue Angels Classic records, leaving him two strokes behind second-round leader Jim Thorpe at Milton, Fla.
Stadler missed a birdie putt for a 59 on the 18th hole. He had 11 birdies and one bogey on the 6,832-yard Moors Golf Club course.
“The hole looks about the size of this room,” Stadler said.
Thorpe shot a 64 for a 13-under 127 total. Morris Hatalsky (65) was a stroke back.
