Militants Threaten to Fire on Tankers

Militants who kidnapped nine foreign oil workers in a flurry of attacks that forced a 20% cut in Nigerian crude exports have threatened to fire rockets at international oil tankers.
The Nigerian military said it could ensure the safety of tankers. Nigeria exports 2.5 million barrels per day and is the fifth-largest foreign supplier to the United States.
