A 16-year-old boy was found dead from hypothermia this week near Blue Slide Creek, a day after he was reported missing.
Humboldt County authorities said Jonathon Aurelies Speciale was helping his father clear debris from Blue Slide Road on Tuesday.
After the road was cleared, Speciale said he would walk home, and the father drove into town, authorities said.
When the father went home that evening, Speciale still had not arrived.
The body was found Wednesday, near the right fork of Blue Slide Creek.
An autopsy revealed no signs of foul play.
