Man Held in Fatal Hit-Run on Freeway

A Downey man was arrested Saturday in the hit-and-run death of a woman on the San Gabriel Freeway after a witness led authorities to his home, the California Highway Patrol said Saturday.
Downey police and CHP officers arrested Martin L. Gonzales, 24, about 2:30 a.m.. He was charged with one count of felony hit-and-run, CHP Officer Patrick Kimball said.
