Insurance coverage for all? Dad had a saying: “Everyone that believes that, stand on his head.”
What adds cost but is of no value in medical care? Simple -- insurance costs. Why is everyone covered by insurance in Canada? Simple -- they have a single payer, the government. Would this work in the United States? Simple -- yes, but unlike Canada, doctors and the American Medical Assn. will never permit doctors to work for a salary, and politicians and the insurance companies insure their health by being in bed together.
