Distorted commentary is like Fox News itself

Re “Fox got it right,” Opinion, Oct. 4
Brian C. Anderson’s Op-Ed article states: “Liberals troop into and out of the Fox studios every day.” In disgust, perhaps, and in minuscule numbers? His piece is full of half-truths and distortions, sort of like, well, Fox News itself. The myth of the liberal media is continually advanced by conservatives. What drives coverage is corporate ownership, which is increasingly concentrated and beholden to advertisers, not to liberal values and ideals.

Champagne at Fox News? How elitist -- whatever that is. I would have guessed that Bud Light would be the order of the day. I bet some of them are even closet latte drinkers. Don’t tell the viewers; it would shatter their illusion.
