Re “A wave of celebrity protest in Malibu,” Oct. 23
Hollywood may stop the placement of an offshore liquefied natural gas facility near Malibu, but it certainly has done precious little to stop the proposed LNG facility at Long Beach Harbor.
If Malibu’s well-connected residents are truly concerned about protecting California, they need to help establish LNG terminals as a statewide issue, whereby all citizens who are deeply troubled by the threat of LNG can question this particular initiative. I know in Long Beach we would welcome Hollywood’s support.
