UNDERRATED
First of all, who knew? And yet, for a sure-fire palliative for a debilitating Saturday-morning hangover, there is no better option. Dimly lit, comfy leather booths, a plate of scrambled eggs, grilled ham, hash browns and a side of their divine flannel cakes (a cross between a crepe and a pancake; only available until 3 p.m.). The crimson-jacketed waiters -- often described as gruff; we prefer no-nonsense -- pose no questions harder than “More coffee?” [(323) 467-7788]
Yes, it’s come to that. We’re critiquing parking. But as any L.A. theatergoer knows, the either nonexistent or overpriced options can make going to a play a special kind of hell. That’s why we heart the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. After 6 p.m., you can park for free in City Hall’s clean, spacious adjacent garage. Bless.

So we keep accepting invitations, watching the numbers of contacts adding up and never actually communicating with any of them. Is there a support group for the anti-social? If so, can we join?
STEVE AOKI’S DJ MIX
Aoki’s rise has us imagining a distant future where he lies facedown in a Hollywood pool as a Norma Desmond-esque Cory Kennedy announces, “I’m ready for my guest drop on ‘Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles,’ ” and Cobrasnake (as Max von Mayerling) leads her off to a hipster has-been loony bin.
