Neil Diamond loses his voice

Neil Diamond has postponed concerts in Green Bay, Wis., and St. Louis and will give refunds to the people who attended his performance at Ohio State University on Monday because of what he says is acute laryngitis.
“I haven’t let you down before, and I won’t let you down now,” the 67-year-old singer said in an apology to the Ohio State concertgoers on his website. A spokeswoman, Eve Samuels, said the singer is offering a refund to those who request one before Sept. 5.
